Need Help/Advice

Alright guys this is my first post on here, so here’s hoping this goes well! Anyway I have recently been offered a job, which under normal circumstance would be great. The rub is that the job is currently about 110~ miles away or 1.5 hrs of driving. My wife and I have decided to stay in our current location in order to prevent distress to our little one so that means if I take this job I’ll be commuting for the foreseeable future.

So I am asking for some advice from people on here that have longer commutes. What is it like? Is it worth it? Opinions and thoughts?

For more details I would be driving a Cruze that I’m confident can get 30 mpg on this commute, gas in my area is roughly $2.60 a gallon, the car has 40,000 on original everything so tires would need to be replaced within a year I bet. Finally for all my trouble I’ll be making another $1494 a month gross or maybe $1196 net.

Thank you for any advice.
